Don’t Drop It

This week we are continuing the year-end offering, and a special visitor came to speak to us: Christine Caine!

We began worship with singing “Angels We Have Heard on High”, followed by a testimony and baptism and then “Here Comes Heaven” off of Elevation Worship’s latest album, “Hallelujah Here Below“.

My notes read:

  • 1 Kings 10:1-5
  • Hebrews 12:1-2
  • If we forget that others came before us [in the faith], we may forget that there are going to be others coming after us [in the faith].
  • I’m personally responsible for the evangelization of planet earth before Christ’s second coming.
  • We are responsible to carry the baton of faith.
  • Judges 2:7-10
  • We are only ever one generation away from forgetting/not passing on the works of God.
  • We’ve got to continue believing God or else when we’re gone, the next generation won’t know there is a God to believe in.
  • The milder you make the label, the more potent you make the poison.  Call sin, sin.
  • It’s what you do here and now that determines there and then.
  • Some of you aren’t running your race because you’re so busy scrolling through everyone else’s race.

I can’t wait to see what God is going to do through me and through Elevation Church in 2019!
