To the Warriors

I’m honored to serve alongside you, do you know that? You do realize your service and leadership are not in vain; you must! You made it through hard places in your life, and for that I’m eternally grateful.  Not only did you make it through, you made it through valiantly.  Victoriously.  Proudly.  Your testimony has inspired me in mine.  Your service to God and peers makes me proud to know you and call you friend.  Even more, to call you family.  Your generosity in faith challenges, inspires, and humbles me.  Your leadership reaches people who would tune me out.  I thank God every time I think of you, that He would put you next to me.  Standing beside you gives me the strength to puff my chest out and take up my weapons in this spiritual fight.  To know that you’re just as passionate about conquering ground for the Kingdom brings a smile to my face.  It’s an honor to war with you.  To know you have my back and to be in your corner.  To be able to confidently go towards my assignment while you go towards yours, knowing full well God is with you.  I love hearing about the impact your kindness is making, about how your tenderness is drawing the hurting towards you.  You know where the Source of your healing came from and you can’t keep it to yourself.  Your smile brings joy into my life and your laughter inspires mine.  The joy radiating off you is contagious.  The bold confidence with which you walk, war, and minister is stunning.  You are fully confident in the power of the reckless love of God in your life and you share it well.  I have experienced no greater joy than hearing of what God is doing in your life: how He turned your mourning into dancing and your shackles into freedom.

Keep it up, soldier. Make the demons tremble.
